Humminbird ice unit

Anyone know of anyone that is good with humminbird products? I need help with helix 7 ice unit. 

When trying to use lakemaster chip last year. I keep getting screen saying GPS fixed.

I believe I need an update to use mapping chip?

Also had some different or unfamiliar readings when fishing in certain situations last season.

What is your issue?

Already search YouTube and found nothing helpful on MY issue. I have tried company and got no to little help with Tech support.
