Gulp

Has anyone tried tipping your spoons or what not with gulp minnows or just a gulp minnow-head or even waxies. Has anybody had any success with that?  Or just gulp in general for ice fishing.

I've used the 1" and 2" gulp minnows, maggots, leaches, grubs, etc.  I've had mixed results with all of them.  Some days you slay fish non stop and sometimes they won't even sniff the bait.  When the fish are "on" I prefer the ease of using the gulp stuff over live bait.
