I'm headed out of town next week for a trip to the UP. Heard there has been a good amount of snow. I'm probably going to have to shovel out a spot for my tent. Contemplating buying a collapsible shovel. Anyone have any reviews? I know there are a few different brands out there.

thanks in advance

I have the clam collapsible scoop shovel, same review as Awichman. Does fine until the snow gets too deep or after a few thaws/freezes. Even with not much snow it is a pain in the back, literally. I'd go with a full size shovel if you have room and weight isn't an issue.

I have the Coam collapsible shovel. It’s okay for fairly shallow snow, but for the deep snow I use a regular snow shovel. It’s a lot easier on the back. I’ve seen a couple at the high end camping stores that look really nice. They come with high end price tags though.
