Impulse makes really good plastics and you can pick them up at any bait shop or gander mountain. Try impulses mayfly in natural color. I heard a ton of good stuff about b-y baits but haven't used them myself. Also try the gulp alive 1" minnow. They work awesome for me. Favorite color is smelt. Hope that helps

Great link Crappieguy. Can't wait to see what they come up with.

I think that Mudbug might work in the meantime.

B-Y Baits is coming out with a Fresh Water Shrimp plastic, they have a mayfly nymph that works very well.

Or you have them custom made.

I have always used a scud fly pattern to imitate fresh water shrimp

It depends what you are targeting. If you are going for gills CJ&S Shrimpos or Ratsos are good, as are other plastics from companies like Northland, Maki, and TriggerX. I usually go for things with a small tail that will give it lots of action. Wedgees are a wonderful plastic for catching many, many bluegills. They are cheap and come in lots of colors. Rig the plastics straight on a tungsten jig, if it isn'=t straight it will spin and not attract fish. Good luck out there, tight lines!
