Beaver dam tip up collectors

Crazy prices for anniversary tip ups on ebay. Normally 45th selling for around $300. Last night 1 sold for $670. Lake-link  fishing contest 1 went for $395. 50th for $175. 40th at $255 now. Good time to make some extra cash if you need it.

I have a mixed bag of tip ups, a few HT’s, a few Frabill’s and a couple antique no name ones that I use. My $9 HT’s catch fish just as good as my $40 Frabill’s so no way I could bring myself to pay over $50 for a tip up. 

That’s all very insane.  Currently my regularly used batch includes 2 20 years, one 30 year and two 35 years.  I couldn’t sell though, the new ones are junk

How can you tell the age. I've got one that I bought about 45 years ago. It's been used and looks like it.

Lots of 25th out there. 2 New ones sold for $266. I dont think the round ones are worth much. Seems like the round ones werent popular.

I have a 25th ann. new in box, what would that go for?

I wonder what the round wood, red in color beaver dam tip ups would be worth in only used 1 time condition?

I got two of the 45th anniversary ones, barely used.  Matter of fact, one has never been used!  I put some line on it for walleyes, but then never went walleye fishing. I'd sell them for 150 each in a heartbeat!  I have others!  I also have two with the American Flag on them...I hate those American Flag ones, can't see them worth a darn when the sun is shining! I also have a Lake-Link one but I won't sell that one because the event was on my birthday, so it has my birthday stamped on it.  I've never used that one either.

Wow, wonder why they're selling for so much?  I've heard the new ones are crap, but I haven't tried one of the newer ones.

Never owned one probably never will. Buy one in my opinion it's over priced anniversary or otherwise. Now if someone was to give I will use it for what it is not collect it

About a week ago there was 3 of the 45th anniversary on market place. New in the box. The guy wanted $600. I was thinking about it but couldnt pull the trigger.

I saw one on Marketplace for $125, green board, yellow flag. I thought she was nuts. Guess I don't understand the (any?) market lol
