Beaver dam tip up collectors

There's a Dale Earnhardt one on eBay right now for $135. Unreal.

This was a gift years ago from a resort owner.
I have others for use.

I have a couple from the 50s that have that metal disc under the flag that says Beaver Dam on it.    I wrote on 1 of them 1957!    I also have a few flag posts from old or destroyed Beaver Dams , the same goes for the shafts with spools.   I assume they should be worth something.     The 70 YO back up line on them included lol

Purple beaver dam just sold for $551 on ebay. Unbelievable. The colored camo ones from a few years back going for good money.

Fish probably hate Earnhardt as much as I did.

I don't know if painting one with the Jeff Gordon colors would be a good idea either.

I've got and old one I painted black and put an Earnhardt 3 on it.  Haven't caught a thing. I think it scares the fish away., 

Yeah I got one. One just sold on EBay a while back brought around $250 if my memory is correct.

To those that know a lot about BD tip ups, I have a green board from the early 90’s with the Cabelas imprint, I have never seen it on marketplace, Ebay, etc.  Anyone own one?

I see a lot of 1980's and 90's built Beaver Dams for sale on Marketplace.  All seem to be for sale for between 30 and 50 bucks.  I don't know any other tipup out there that goes for the same price used as new, if not more than new other than Beaver Dams and maybe a few select really old, collectible tipups out there.
