Beaver dam tip up collectors

Crazy prices for anniversary tip ups on ebay. Normally 45th selling for around $300. Last night 1 sold for $670. Lake-link  fishing contest 1 went for $395. 50th for $175. 40th at $255 now. Good time to make some extra cash if you need it.

Right! I bought 3 of those for my daughter and 3 of the fire tigers for the other daughter. I wonder if they would notice if they were switched out??lol

I've got 2 of the penguin's. At that price I'm very tempted to sell them. 

It's insane how much they going for. Same guy selling , made over $1300 on 4 tip ups

Boy was I wrong. Those violators are on fire. $360 currently for the penguin. 

The Violators are listed by the same seller. I'm guessing the seller put the opening bid. Total of 3 listed all at $250 with 1 bid.  Would not be surprised if they come up for sale again.

More crazy prices. Blue board with orange flag sold for $401 on ebay. Violator series opening bids at $250 and have bids. Fleet farms 60th anniversary sold for a crazy amount last week. Forgot to check final price

Looking for the beaver dam tip up cribbage board.  If anyone has one please contact me.  It would mean a lot. 

It's metal. But the whole tipup shows many years of wear as I have used it for 50 years. Everything is original on it and I never rermember greasing it but it still spins like a top.

Does it have a metal tag around the flag post or a sticker? If its metal, it increases the value greatly.

I have a Beaver Dam tipup where the original wood color is an OD (Olive Drab) green. My brother bought it new in either the 50's or 60's. Any info on that color?

Speaking of standard boxes, the price for Beaver Dams was great!  Hard to see the sale price here but it was $11.24

I wish I had one of the earliest ones that were dipped.  Mine's new too but the box doesn't have the cool sticker, just the standard box.  When you use a spotlight to check for the reflector patch on the flag, it charges up again.

That's a really cool tipup! Not sure it would help snowmobiles from running it over still, but at least you could see it while walking over to it!  Wonder how long the glow lasts in the dark or if you have to charge it with a flash light every so often?

That one will have some value. I'm just guessing but I'm sure it will bring over a $100. Would not surprise me if it went over $150.
