I kinda wanted to get some thoughts on this. My friend wants me to buy his Browning Citori 12 gauge 30 inch barrell for 1,800. He's had it for over 2 years, but only used it a few times.I told him I'd buy it for 1,700, but he won't budge. Do you think this this a deal?
Depends on which model of citori. Most run $2500+ brand new so depending on what shape it's in, yeah that's a good deal. Upper end and limited production models push $6000+
I used to use my dads Citori 725 for pheasant hunting and loved it. Short barrel on it. If I ever buy a gun specific for trap, it'd be a citori.
Price seems high, specifics matter of course.
It would be used for trap and sporting clays. It has a mod, full and IC for chokes. I'll need to double check, but I'm sure it's a grade 2.
Agreed, depends on what grade it is because the price varies so much. If it's anything other than an upper tier model that is WAY over priced.
A brand new field grade Cynergy can be had under that price.
Need more info.
What grade is it? What are you using it for? Are different chokes included? You can go on armlist or GunBroker and see what they are going for. A nice grade 1 can be had for 600.00 used. I wouldn't spend that much on one for hunting.
