Register for Warranty?

Hi all!

I heard NOT to register a firearm for warranty and I've heard YES to register it.

I always register everything I buy for the warranty. Ideas? 

 I do at times, but yes, many gun companies will help you out should something become an issue.

  On the other hand, I have avoided sending in a gun I was gifted or got FTF. Once sent in, I imagine many/most gun companies tie that serial number to you as the last owner, could be good or bad.

  In this age of big brother snooping around, no need to help them out. 

Some companies are no questions asked repairs  , but not all . Plus who knows if they want a registration with so many companies being bought and sold  . I'd register  .

 Not sure why someone would not. I did not always do it but I see no issues with doing so. I always did with the testing firearms. Was never turned down for repair.
