I have had numerous issues with Taurus. 3 times I have sent guns back for service and had the worst service ever. On gun they wouldn't return (recall) but offered me a crap G1, 9mm. or $200. Took forever. Very hard to get them on the phone. Recently sent back my 605. Cylinder hard to open. I don't think they touched it.

I'm done w/Taurus. Don't care how cheep they are.

I can't remember a time in the last 25+ years where Taurus didn't have a reputation for fairly poor QC and customer service. All manufacturers seem to have QC issues to some extent these days, but Taurus has always been a roll of the dice as to if you get one that runs or not.

Here is what I had to send back.
605 two different ones (sticky cylinder. said they fixed it. they didn't)
22lr revolver (couldn't open cylinder)
PT145 (worked fine. they wouldn't return it)
