Does Remington's Lifetime Warranty mean anything anymore?

Bought a Remington V3 after a few years of research last year. Now with the bankruptcy what happens? No problems yet, just curious 

Remington is going to restart with a new  owner.

It would appear that the warranty lasted for the lifetime of the Remington company.
