Anyone using a 6.5 grendel for deer hunting? I have the opportunity to pick one up. Curious what some think of the cartridge for deer hunting.
I’m not looking for caliber recommendations.

I wonder if these compare to the ones used in WW2 by the Japanese? My grandfather picked one up from one of the Japanese he shot during world war 2. I shot it a few times when I was younger. Hardly any kick, open sites and could easily shoot something from 300 yards or more. The bullets were still rising at 100 yards. It was a neat gun though. I think my uncle ended up with it.
