What else can one catch from shore in the fall, other than black kings?

So, if I fish from one of the harbor break walls in for instance Port or Milwaukee, what would be the best tactic to catch fish other than dying kings? or is that all that primarily is around the shores in the fall?

Racine harbor 3 years back I caught 3 largemouth bass, 1 smallmouth bass, 1 pike and numerous sheep head. Other fish are in there too besides salmon and trout 

I once got a silver, fresh king in an eastern Wisconsin tributary the day after Thanksgiving when I was fishing for browns/rainbows. 

You also can get browns and rainbows. Don't expect to catch a good king past Labor Day

Dunno about your area, we get a lot of brown trout and steelhead off shore. There was an article on here about it at one point with some good tips.

Don't know about Milwaukee area but smaller silver kings and brown trout are caught off Kewaunee at this time. I'm sure bigger fish coming in have some mixed age fish traveling with them. Stream fishing for spring rainbows in a small creek one time I spotted a silver king swimming with them. It didn't know the rules about running in the fall!
