After further review….I’ll be limiting my consumption of whitefish, walleye, and salmon from Lake Michigan. Is this concerning to anyone else?

If someone has too many LAKE MICHIGAN salmon/trout I’d gladly take them off your hands lol.  I would even bring over a 6 pak!   Oh wait!  That would be bartering and therefore a no no.     Anyway our family have eaten many meals of these fish fish for the last 50 years or so and nobody has grown an extra eye or anything else.    I would advise women of childbearing age to use caution though.    THE ABOVE IS ONLY IMO. I mostly follow the guidelines myself and remove mudlines, etc.  I saw the same thing about Lake Superior smelt, but that didn't seem to stop anyone netting them either.  Didn't expect to read bad things about a tiny fish, to go from unlimited to 1 meal per month.
