I am going to be replacing my net this spring. I am leaning towards a Ranger tournament series. Anyone use this net or opinions on others. From what I have seen this is the best net for the price. Also, would a28x30 hoop size.be big enough for a big king or would 34x30 be a better option? They both have a 36 inch depth with an extendable handle up to 84 inches. I fish out of a 1850 Alumacraft Trophy

I have both the Ranger Tournament series and a standard Ranger.  The tournament series is a smaller net that I use for Coho, Rainbow and smaller fish up to 20lbs or so. The standard Ranger is a bigger net I use for Kings.  I'm not sure what size they are but are great nets and use them on my charter boat.  Not sure where you are located, I purchased both through Sam's Bait Box in Port Washington.
