5-6 feet behind dodger or short like a fly, so it whips around?

I have a couple of friends who frequently run spoons behind dodgers and flashers and do quite well. It isn't a despiration thing because both have confidence in that approach. They use from 5-6' leads.

Putting a spoon or plug behind a dodger or flasher is usually a last attempt to catch something. Some guys try it and catch fish. I'd stick to running flies or a meat rig behind a dodger or flasher.

Try a Brad's super cut plug too with Roasted Garlic Tuna behind a spinning attractor like a Big Al's.

Good luck.
