Thought you guys would like to see the size of this bow we caught yesterday out of Algoma. Got it on a 2 color with a pearl yek spoon in 360 ft. of water. The board came off so it was a clean line except for the core. Was a major battle, fun, fun ,fun. Don't see them this size to often

Griff, isn’t the record around 23-24 lbs. it’s got to be close. Definitely something to consider mounting!

I got a 39” brown this winter from shore. Old buck hook jaw. Estimated weight around 25 /26 lbs. released him.
Congrats….JD

That things a beast! Biggest one I ever had hit and see was all of 36"+. I figured around 15 or so lbs. That one slammed the bait at 50 feet down on a rigger and screamed up to the surface, jumping into the air about 4-5 feet, throwing the bait (blue dolphin spoon) about 30 feet behind the boat. It all happened in a matter of maybe 3 seconds. I did land one from shore about 35" and just under 15 lbs. Those fish are very rare all over LM. Congratulations!

JD unoffical boat scale had 22.7.Did not measure it. My cooler is 32" on the inside. Bunch of tail curl up so thinking like 38"-40" maybe?

Never jumped, we figured it was to big to jump. Never dawned on us that it was a bow. When we saw it 's size , just thought it was a king. Never realized it was a bow until it was in the net in the bottom of the boat.
