Best Port in early August

So, aliens have apparently abducted my wife and the being inhabiting her body wants to take do a charter trip Friday or Saturday with our daughter. We're Appleton area, so willing to travel from Kewaunee/Algoma down to Port Washington. What's the best port to look for a charter out of at this time of year? In reading the reports, it seems like there's better action south around Port Washington, but not sure if that's because the bite is that much better or just more people who report. Looking at weather/wind forecasts isn't giving me a great feeling, but if we wait much longer I'm worried we won't wind up with much for silver fish.

Check out Captain Dave on Playin' Hooky in Sheboygan.  He's a great guy, you'll have a ton of fun with him for sure!   https://www.playinhookyfishing.com/

He's got a YouTube channel too, where you can see a tour of his boat:

If you’re after silver fish, make sure you tell the captain that. Otherwise they’ll drag the bottom for lakers because they’re much easier targets.

They are all good, a lot has to do with the wind and water temp. Most charters will get you on the fish. August is a good month. Maybe I am bias but Sheboygan is a good port with several good captains.
