Hello all

Coming up from Indiana next weekend looking to do some salmon fishing.  I had planned on Michigan (Muskegon) but with the West winds in the forecast for next week, I'm thinking it may be a good time to try Wisconsin as I've wanted to for years.

I would like to jig and maybe do some flat line trolling.  I've read and watched videos about salmon jigging Milwaukee harbor but haven't seen much on Racine or other ports.  If jigging is what i'm after, is Milwaukee where I should go ?

I have a few other questions but I'll wait to see where this takes me.  Thanks in advance.

If jigging is your preferred angling method then Milwaukee is by far the better choice. be aware that there will be a plethora of other anglers thinking the same thing. Trolling just outside the wall would be productive also with deep diving crankbaits. I fished yesterday out of Kenosha and the cold water was 42-44 feet down in 60 fow. With any sustained west wind, the cold water will move even closer to shore.
