I would love to see a wolf in Wisconsin! Every time I visit family in central Wisconsin, I only hear about sightings! If anyone knows where I would be most likely to catch a glimpse, please do share! I would jump at the opportunity!
Wolves in Wisconsin
Kind of blurry, but that looks like a coyote to me.
I understand the "S.S.S." concept.
But unless the wolf is threatening me, loved ones, dogs/ cattle. I can't see myself killing one.
Sorry, just relish my hunting privilege.
I have a hunting lease in southern Clark County. Last weekend I switched out my SD cards.
I had a picture of a COLLARED WOLF!
This was verified by my contact at the WDNR.
I have heard several wolves howling the last 3 years. So I'm NOT surprised.
I talked to some Portage county C.O.’s last Monday. They said they relocated a bunch from the area. They also said a pack ran right through the UWSP campus recently. So, maybe hang out around the campus?
Joining the site at 1:00 in the morning and on your first post start a controversial thread on wolves is wrong. Trouble making? Yup. Pushing for more in central Wi. Pitiful. I could have said much worse so I give people something to laugh about instead. Knuckle dragger.
Yea I can agree with you Wicasa, any body liking them dogs could be tagged as a knuckle dragger.
There’s a few knuckle draggers around here, Scafiddi. But they’re right about one thing, wolves don’t often let themselves be seen. The folks who do occasionally see one are usually clocking a lot of hours in the woods for some other reason. It ain’t like the old days of going to the dump a watching the bears.
BTW - do you have a family member who played football @ UWEC way back in the day?
Some pretty solid advice on the fecal slurry...works every time
