Suggestion for Northern Wisconsin lake for family fishing vacation or Minnesota

Looking to try an rent a cabin on a lake for a week of diving and looking for suggestions in northern wisconsin or maybe Minnesota. Looking for panfish and maybe a few walleye for me

1st choice for me would be Lake Vermillion in Mn. As far  as WI goes, probably the Chip

The Chippewa Flowage would be tops on my list. Maybe not the best fishery compared to other areas but overall, the scenery is second to none. Check out the Deer Run Resort. Wonderful family run resort with nice cabins. LCO and Grindstone are two deep clear lakes that could work for diving.
