Look here: https://dnr.wi.gov/education/trappereducation.html for all the information about classes and certifications. You can even get acquainted with the course program there. Good luck!

You can check the WTA website. www.wistrap.org They will list classes. It appears they would like people take a hands on course; especially if you have no backround.You maybe able to take a correspondence cource; however it appears they are swamped per the quarterly magazine. For more info ; I sugjest you contact the President of WTA at [email protected]. The course is handled by the WTA.
