Are there any outfitters in the Iron/Ashland County area with an opening ??
bobcat outfitter 2019
I booked an outfitter in the Crivitz area. I hunt in 2 weeks.
All is well that ends well.
Thanks for the leads and assistance from everyone at Lake Link.
I hate to say it, but it sounds like you didn't plan far enough in advance if you need an outfitter.
If anyone thinks they can book a bobcat outfitter with the same ease as booking a bear hunter, they are wrong.
It is easier to draw a bobcat tag than it is to find a bobcat outfitter.
I suggest bobcat outfitters make a list of available outfitters that is easily found on a google search. Post it here or in the Wisconsin Outdoor News, or some other easy to find site.
I found fewer than 10 bobcat outfitters in northern Wisconsin. A few of them were booked several years in advance.
If hunters need a outfitter to hunt bobats, there is no reason for them to try and hunt in the north. There are too few outfitters to meet the demand.
All those years of stacking up points has resulted in a empty bag.
Have you tried Pat Quaintance up in Bayfield area? He’s got some prestigious cat dogs.
The level of snow in Bayfield ruled out my January hunt.
Now I am back to having a tag but not an outfitter.
Are there any outfitters with an opening ??
A trapper from Bayfield has agreed to have mercy on this Dells guy. But it all hinges on the snowfall.
Hats off to the boys from Bayfield !!
Thanks to all for the leads. It is nearly impossible to find a bobcat outfitter.
Steve White is booked. I will gladly contact any outfitter others might know.
Did you try Steve White in St Germain
I know a guy around Cranston area. What me to check if he has any openings?
Looks like I will toss my bobcat tag in the burn barrel. There are no bobcat outfitter openings anywhere in northern Wisconsin.
But I am number 86 on a waiting list.
Looks like it is easier to get a tag than it is to find a outfitter.
