Hello, I’m looking to try something different this year vs out normal N WI trips. I’m looking to try some new water in the western up for either smallmouth, crappie or walleye. Any suggestions for lakes or local guides? Feel free to PM me. Thanks!

I fished Portage Lake when I was a kid. We really did good row trolling for walleye. I really caught some big northerns on that lake too. I would really like to get back up there myself.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. Any good guides in those areas? I’m having a hard time finding anything online that’s not on Lake Gogebic. Thanks again

I’m open to anything along the WI border or over to Baraga. Thanks!

Dead River Basin in Marquette county is where we go every year for great smallmouth fishing. Lots of pike and eyes too.
