Using leeches on the mississippi river 8

Leeches are my favorite live bait. They’re very hardy and don’t die quickly. Small fish find it hard to engulf them. I love ‘em!

Yes also when it's warmer and l usually catch the most fish on leeches in different presentations and catch multi species but mostly walleye panfish and smallies. I do use other baits but I use leeches the most by far.

Yes. They are very productive once the water warms up enough for them to naturally occur. I hook them once through the front and bottom fish them with a slip sinker. Just don't leave them in there forever. They like to hide.
