If we can make it work we plan to take a trip to Leech Lake for the first time.  Any resorts or guides that are recommended?  A protected harbor would be best central to fishing grounds. My friend that has been there said you really don't even need to leave Walker Bay. Was thinking maybe Oak Point Resort, but other suggestions are good.

Plan on fishing Musky and Walleye. We like to mix it up between casting, trolling and bottom bouncing or jigging.  Most likely take a guide one, if not two days.  Thanks

We stay at Birch Ridge Resort on Sucker Bay. Very nice place with a fantastic protected harbor. It's a long bay and more weed than rock, but lots of fish! Guys who stay there go to Walker, so it's definitely doable.
