John can't censor the fish measurements.....he is given the stuff right from FF and has to read the winners that FF picks....join the masses and register a 45" bluegill....in would be interesting to see if they would catch that one!! LOL

Agreed there's always one per show and a 25" smallmouth  must be close to a record I've just about seen every species size yes some are easily made up and most are probably right but John edits the show he should be like c'mon and move to the next believable ones. Alot of 40" + pike that are more like 34" pretty common and some photos are so poor or there from like the 80's. Has anyone ever heard of a 25" smallie caught in Wisconsin but I guess it's possible .

Tuffy2, your spot on about the F.F fishing contest, I see it almost every week. Either people don’t know how to measure fish or else they are just liars.

I watched the show this morning. They really caught some nice Muskies. My only negative is the big fish pictures that are sent in. I have fished for smallmouth bass all over Wisconsin and Canada. Today they had a picture of a 25” smallmouth bass. There is no way someone caught a 25” smallmouth bass in Tomahawk, Wisconsin. John, you need to clean up this contest, or eliminate it from your show. Hopefully this fish won’t wind up in your Fleet Farm drawing in January.  JMO

My wife yelled at me to keep it down from the other room, because I was laughing so hard at the beginning of the show!

make sure ya catch the beginning...JG does some strange things with the net handle on Pete

Yeah that was kinda strange...As soon as Pete hooks into a nice pike, John starts "Clam-handling" him while Blake toots on a horn.  Maybe it's some sort of Lake of the Woods tradition?
