I have been on a mission to catch some trout thru the ice at various stocked lakes throughout the state. Mainly looking at waushara county but also some smaller stocked ponds closer to me in Sheboygan/Ozaukee county. I am used to catching lakers out of big green but I haven’t been able to get anything going on stocked rainbow and browns. Anyone have any pointers on baits, depths etc… I have tried deep basins and shallower weed lines. I’ve watched YouTube vids from mostly ppl fishing in the mountains for trout and I don’t know if that translates to Wisconsin stocked trout. Let me know what you all think!
