hard body jigging lures

Last season I learned the X-Rap style of fishing. This season it's the Jigging Rap. There's plenty of baits out there. The Jigging Rap, Shiver minnow, Puppet, Lunkerhunt, Berkley snap rap. And quite a few costume made options. What's your opinions on... best triggering...most durable...best colors? Thanks

I think a lot of fellas fish those blade baits too aggressively. I've always done well with a jigging action similar to fishing a jig and minnow/jig and leech, especially in cold water be careful not to rip it too high off the bottom. Warm water and snap jigging is a different story. I'm always more apt to pick natural colors for baits with the exception of some of the glow options.
