Annual 2020 Carp RoundUp - June 6 & 7
The CARP ROUNDUP, sponsored by the FRCAUSE (Fox River Citizens Against Underwater Silt & Erosion) will be staged at the boat launch North of Waterford Village Hall, 123 N River St. The Roundup is held each year on the DNR designated free fishing weekend. Carp may be taken by any legal means on the Fox River and Tichigan Lake. That includes bow and arrow, spearing and hook and line.
$1 CASH BOUNTY given for each carp turned in over 6 inches.
Paid Saturday and Sunday Noon to 5pm
Note: If you haven't bowfished on this river, you will find it is an amazing, challenging waterway with endless locations along the river and lake. Lots of weeds, shallow areas, islands & bays. This weekend could very well coincide with the height of carp spawning!
