Anyone have any suggestions about going some where warm in the winter, for a couple of months?
Winter get away
Thanks for your input
Plus one on Costa Rica. Not commercial (yet), beautiful country, friendly people, & 85 degrees every day. Low cost of living, too.
It is my dream to some day, on the day after Thanksgiving, to point our vehicle south to the Florida Gulf Coast with plans to return to WI on May 1st.
Anywhere there is snow!!!! Oops you said warm!!!!
People go just about anywhere to stay warm. TX, ARK, FL, AL, AZ, NM, NV, take your pick. No one seems to complain about where theyve been as long as they stay warm and feel welcome and affordable. The big question besides affordability and access to med care is what are the activities to pass the time, hobbies. That might dictate where you should go.
Thailand very cheap lots of ex pats, 90% speak english good med care, vietnam same as thailand, if you wish to stay state side the big island of hawaii you can still find cheap condos to rent and easy to find a 2 or 3 day a week job off the books to help living costs.
My folks, uncles and a bunch of their friends have trailers in a park in Yuma. They spend most of the winter there. They negotiated a year fee for leaving them there. Most of the tourists flee from the summer heat so the park owner is happy to have some income for the sites in summer.
