The first wiff of 2-stroke outboard exhaust in spring. Thunderstorms. The air near the Pacific Ocean. Maple in the wood burner. A good hoppy pale ale. And last but not least, my old pooch. Some people thought that it was more of a stink at times but I never felt that way. What I would give to smell that smell again. Crying

Fresh cut hay, smell of a fresh rain, and a good pipe.

I agree with most of these.

Mine are the smell of the cedar cabin, fresh cut red oak, gun powder, muskie slime, and the smell of the woods after a rain in October.

I worked with some guys that would savor the smell of Dykem(layout fluid)

Mine would be a freshly opened bottle of good beer or Anisette.

I love the smell of elk! Nothing like making your way through a patch of dark timber and getting a big whiff of elk to the nostrils.
