Whats For Dinner?

Thought it might be fun to see what everyone likes to eat. What are you're favorite foods? (other than fish and wild game). One of my all time fav's is Corned beef and cabbage, with red potatoes. MMMMM, got a huge pot with 2 shanks on right now, almost done! My second Fav is Veal Oscar, with white asparagus spears, crab, and hollendaise.

Dinner is boneless pork chop in butter with onion. Side are baked potato and steamed asparagus.

Did the B.B.Q rib tip thing yesterday,so I think I'll finish them up later today.

A big salad to cancel out the carbs I had today and eat them away.  An old-fashioned recipe for cottage cheese.

It's hard to keep the thin chicken both tender and cooked, but tonight we all ate well !

Planking a salmon in the rain

As a get well from hip replacement gift, my parents were kind enough to stop at my go to Italian beef place in our old neighborhood to pick up a couple pounds of beef and some sausage. So, Johnnie's in Elmwood Park, IL it is! I don't always get down there when I'm home visiting since they moved to a different part of the city, and it's been quite a while since I've had it, so to say I'm excited is an understatement!
