Whats For Dinner?

Thought it might be fun to see what everyone likes to eat. What are you're favorite foods? (other than fish and wild game). One of my all time fav's is Corned beef and cabbage, with red potatoes. MMMMM, got a huge pot with 2 shanks on right now, almost done! My second Fav is Veal Oscar, with white asparagus spears, crab, and hollendaise.

Thinking I will take the wife out for a decent meal tonight for our 32nd wedding anniversary.  I have it narrowed down to steaks, italian, or mexican!  I will see if he has a craving for any one of those.

Looks like chicken again. Wife bought a whole broasted yard bird Tuesday, had a breast sandwich with some chips last night and it looks the rest is going to soup tonight

Don't feel like cooking today so I think i'll just have a couple of "Chicago Style" hot dogs with some macaroni salad. They are easy to make in boiling water.

Wife fried eggplant she grew last year,  with panko in air fryer. Her home made  sauce from her tomatoes and pasta. Delicious and other than the pasta & the bread  pretty low cal. Course when ya freely consume copious amounts cause yer half lit on scotch critique, well just chalk it up to another great evening at the home front…

The wifee had to work all day yesterday so today its chicken fajita followed up by some Busch lights. Wendsday will be a good food Got a buddy coming over that is moving to Kentucky his wife left this morning with the last trailer load of belongings he is sticking around until this transfer goes through for work and the better halves cousin which is a widower is coming over for dinner. Venison backstrap grilled shrimp potatoes on the grill along with grilled asparagus. All washed down with cold adult beverage. Should be a good night with plenty of laughs. Thursday work may suck. 😂🤔

Leftover Monday before garbage day Tuesday

Found a coupleof boneless pork chops,so grilling them indoors with a baked potato and some asperagus. Think I'll spread some BBQ sauce on the chops  last minute while cooking them.

Well I hope everyone had an enjoyable and safe Cinco de mayo -- we did some enchiladas, ground beef nachos and carne asada marinated steaks.  Topped it off with some cold dos equis beer and margaritas

My wife made homemade enchilada’s for Cinco De Mayo. Turned out great.

Mase some chicken ala King with some premade chicken with the usual white gracy and assorted veggies mixed in on a bed of rice. Prety good at least I thought so.
