Whats For Dinner?

Thought it might be fun to see what everyone likes to eat. What are you're favorite foods? (other than fish and wild game). One of my all time fav's is Corned beef and cabbage, with red potatoes. MMMMM, got a huge pot with 2 shanks on right now, almost done! My second Fav is Veal Oscar, with white asparagus spears, crab, and hollendaise.

So a friend of mine wants to do ribs in a slow cooker for the fourth. He’s tired of grilling. He has tasted some crockpot ribs of mine before. He likes them. But he feels they want something a little different since a lot of the people already had then once or twice, so we’re gonna see what we can come up with. Frozen ribs slabs highly seasoned , slowly un thawing. Will use the usual garlic, horseradish, red pepper flakes , beer and black pepper. But I’ll throw in a couple secret ingredients , see which one he likes and we’ll fill crockpots with them for the fourth.

Well not going to be for dinner tonight, long stall and rather than forcing through it we are going to let it ride low and slow and have it for lunch tomorrow. Still probably 4 hours to go, going to wrap it ​till finish. 

Venison burgers on the grill

Had one of my great friends buy me a birthday dinner with veal Parmesan and French baked onion soup! Both were incredible.

Baked spuds, chicken on the grill and a can of corn. Up north at the cottage and the wind has been blowing 3 days now so no fishing. Might as well spend time grilling.
