Just wondering what every one does during the day and evening? Work? Play? Fish? Camping? Gardening? Smoking? You get the idea........ I work up early to put the venison jerky in the dehydrator and took the fiancé to work and then when I got home I made breakfast. I fixed the bath sink and took a nap. Then I sat around having a few beers waiting for the jerky to get done. Tried to read a book but that's not for me. Oh yea, I cut the lawn b4 the rain. I better save sum stuff 4 2maro. Just wondering what you guys do during the day and evening. Let's here it.

Made the 8.5 hour road trip to oldest daughter's place to drop my wife off for the week to help out with grandson.  Also delivered some of the SIL's stuff (stored at our place for a year) to their new house.  Pic of a couple of the special passengers belted in the rear seats.

Planted 3 apple trees in my food plots and watered them down.  Older fruit trees are just starting to leaf out.  Hope we don't get a frost when the fruit trees bloom this year!  Always a crap shoot........crossing fingers!

OOOFFFTTAA!! I’m beat!   Went to Smokies mistake on the lake bought a couple more musky baits.  Then went ramp foraging, 10 acres of private woods was loaded up! Dug up 12 more clumps for my garden (now has 21clumps) total. Also, cut leaves and dug more with bulbs for the grill.  My dehydrator is going to be busy with making ramp powder!

Just finished mowing lawn, getting boat & leftover bait squared away after finally getting out angling in the windstorm that was yesterday!
Heckeva time getting boat on trailor due to big wind coming right at landing… I have the tailites on posts that stick way up from trailor. Could not gey her between those posts to save soul. Almost gave in and walked into cold Wi. River when my guardian Angel told me to try finagaling the boat backwards thru the posts. Didn’t work till I backed trailor in as far as possible-back truck wheels almost in water…(remember to have it in 4 wheell if you try this) then it was a breeze! In other words  you just push boat backwards thru posts and because there’s water between boat & rollers it practically seats itself when u start winching.
I have an old fibreglass Lund 14ft. Not sure how it wood work on deeper “V” . My boat rather shollow draft too. Don’t forget to full tilt all stern mounted motors either.

Newoodhunter, I am curious did your speaker identify the sources of lead. Is it lead shot, lead sinkers or something else?

I replaced the bulbs in the patio lights and tonight when the theLincoln County Sports Club meeting. They had a speaker for Wild Instincts animal rehab from the Rhinelander area. Very informative and eye opening how much lead is harming animals and birds.

Wife and I put the pier in today.  I wanted to wait til we had some strong help like from our busy sons. Then I figured its all down hill, not uphill, so cant be too bad for aged folks.  We did good.  I am waist deep in the water its maybe 50 degrees tightening the lags on the pier a big snapper turtle slowly swims past me about 5 feet away. Very slow. No one was going to hurry him along and he knew it.

It was maybe 8 or 10 years ago this week that we were ice fishing on 3 feet of ice caught some crappies  driving out atv on the lake awesome day, with lots of sun, 50 degrees out and 14 hours of daylight.  It cant get much better than that.  This week we had to settle for nice weather and getting a lot of outdoor chores done. HAHA

I changed the filter on the central air conditioner air handler. Went to the bank and played the machine, I won. Then I went to the grocery store. Came home checked a few things on the rusty silverado. Had some lunch. Started packing a few things for the lumberjack weekend at camp Zion. Now checking out LL again. Going to make Italian sausage with peppers and tomato sauce with penne noodles for dinner in a little while. Oops, Wait a minute that's another thread. That's it for now.
