I hit the storm yesterday for a good 10 miles on Hwy 41. I just want to say, it should be illegal to stop under an overpass. This brings the worst decision making out of people. Most of us want to keep going and drive out of the heavy rain and hail. Yesterday I had people actually stop on the Hwy to look for an opening to pull in, and even saw another person backing up on the shoulder to get his car under cover In front of others. We are only going 10mph! Yet the brake lights are blinking like a Christmas tree! Just keep driving! You are going to put yourself at risk trying to merge back onto the hwy. also!
My stomach felt that coming yesterday in Keno. Kept telling people, quit looking west on your radar, look sw and put it in motion! It was just getting its act together...sure did happen. Block is fine here, fortunately. What a show!
Sorry, Pool. I hope the neighbor or someone was able to get the most valuable things from the shed out of the weather and the tree will be alright. Bad situation my friend.

Just finished pouring in Genoa cty.
Got pictures from a neighbor of our palatial estate in Vernon county, shed was destroyed and a tree the old man planted 40 years ago for my mother was damaged. Glad I have a good friend to let me know when something is wrong.
Carpio, it's probably a 100 years old or more. Steel doesn't last half as long and the plastic they use has its own issues.

Sirens went off here about 1:50 PM. Must've been a tornado spotted somewhere, but nothing around us at that time. Could tell we'd get hit hard with rain in about 15 minutes and that's exactly what happened. My gardens went from too dry to plant anything to too wet now!
