Who's got one ? what are you growing ? and how's it coming along? Mine consists of sweet corn , cabbage , brussel sprouts, cauliflower, broccoli ,cucumbers, zucchini, peas, tomatoes , peppers , acorn squash, pumpkins, and assorted spices. The cold wet weather hasn't been very conducive to good growth so far for me. But with warmer weather in the forecast things should turn out. I hope those of you growing fair better.

After some sniveling I've decided to jump back in. Picked up some more tomato plants at fleet. Hope for good weather thru Sept. to harvest my favorite veggie

Planted some pinto beans yesterday, never tried growing them before but I like them in chili so I figured why not.

Also bought a bag of sweet corn seeds from fleet farm, and it was only enough for one 40' row! What a rip off at $3! I'll stick with my eBay shops from now on, was just convenient at the time.

Garden is really looking good this year, still plenty of time for something to go south though!

Carrots already?? Sheesh!
We should have our first meal of beets this weekend, otherwise nothing but leafy greens and radishes so far! Peas probably won't be much longer and a few kholorabi will be ready soon but otherwise everything else still has a ways to go.

Don't they say you should plant a late round of cucumbers to avoid the cucumber beetles? Does anyone know when that is?

Couple Heirlooms reaching 6 ft or more. Carrots planted 1st week of April can be picked, but full size won't be for a couple more weeks. I'll pull them then and do the 3rd planting for fall. Onions should be ready to start picking some in 10 days. Probably pull most out the 3rd week of July and do the 3rd planting of them at that time
