What is the year & make of your truck, and how many miles on the original engine and transmission...a chance to talk about your truck, not downgrade someone else's ...

Purdy truck.  I'd love to take it on the trapline a few days.  LOL

Look into Ranch King. One of the better aftermarket ones out there. Mine was custom made.

Both look like nothing more than a brush guard.
Critter gaurd whole different class.the hitch has 1k tounge weight and spec'd for deer strike 70mph.
Told them if I hit a deer all I want to have to do is get the hose.

What is ugly?

I am thinking something like this  that looks like near full coverage and looks like protects the grill and headlights

defintiely not this wouldnt stop a rabbit from busting a grill

RC I have a friend that ran/owned a body shop. I asked this same question several years ago. The only ones that helped were just plain ugly in his opinion.  The good looking ones on the front of a truck just added to the cost of the total repair. He loved those as it added $$$ to the estimate and his bottom line.

Beautiful truck WW, very nice.
River on the Brush guard question. In a head on low speed (20/30.mph??) deer hit I think it might help. A few years ago I hit one going 60 mph, left front 1/4. took out 1/2 the front and most of the left side, 6k in damage. I had a $500 deductible. So a $1000 deer guard would have done nothing much. It's a tough call to say would it payoff? I think they look good and in the right case surely could help, but it's not going to stop all the damage.

Does anyone put value on a front end grill and brush guard for protecting against deer damage?  For $1000 seems like it would save a lot of hassle and damage if you hit a deer  What is the wisdom on Lake Link?

Bug zapper 2 you're right that would look really sweet, I guess I didn't think of it because my last truck was all black with chrome wheels. At least the wheels are not Chrome they are polished aluminum.  They're not eye blinking Chrome then I would not have bought them. Maybe I'll get some winter tires with black rims no my wife would not let me!

Westfield  Black wheels and black running boards would really set it off that’s what I did. Never the less that’s really a nice ride you got there congrats!

Nice color Wes. Looks great! Hopefully you can kick back & relax in there. Don’t get too distracted playing with all the new toys/gadgets.
Congrats on a dream ride…
