Driveway being plowed with an old trail grooming pistenbully & pup on snowbank. With the change of seasons soon & less busy towns the north woods breathes a sigh of relief waiting for the craziness the summer brings to the outdoors.

Can any of you gents recommend a good metal roof contractor in the Sayner/Star Lake, Minocqua, Boulder Junction general area?

Best trails of the season bar none!

Didn’t hit a bump from Sayner to Presque Isle.

Ghost town up here too!  Best trails of the year with no one on them!

18-24” in northern Ontonagon  county & throughout copper country & still snowing. A break for the north on tourism but tough on the whitetail . Deer kill winter severity index in the high category since beginning of March. I’m sure wolves are having easy pickens . Once again mother natures shows a calendar doesn’t matter .

We may head to PI!

Still a winter wonderland up here!

We got about 3 inches my dad rode from. Presqueisle thru Boulder junction and manitowish waters and back and said that the trails were great and could barely find a bump.  Not traffic either

We got 1” in Sugar Camp. Rain didn’t not knock down the snow down much. Just made plowed lots and drives icy. NW winds are cranking, northern Vilas should pick up some LES today and tomorrow. Yesterday I walked about 2 miles on the snowmobile trails and they were pretty decent ,a few icy patches. Nobody on them. In Feb there were lots of riders on much crappier trail conditions. On Tuesday friends rode from here up to Boulder jct area and said it was the best trail conditions of the season.

You see how any of the trails looked from the road Rob?

They were in very nice shape last weekend!

We got about 1/4'' in St Germain....lol    Weather idiots can't read a simple radar.   2019 winter had more snow than we have now....I shoveled 4'-5' feet off of some of the cabin roofs that year.  We had 60" of snowfall total in Feb of that winter.   Shoveled the same roofs this past Tues and had 35-6".   Snowmobiling was over last weekend judging by the traffic...however the trails can stay open until March 31st per insurance....but might as well shut them down now
