The Gripe Site
Thank you to everyone for all the well wishes. Rikj hope all goes well with your Bell’s. Your story about the sleeping arrangements in the cabin made me chuckle, unfortunately.
Have to honestly say I appreciate this group on the forums. It’s anonymous for the most part but there is a large group here that can disagree on topics and yet still find some common ground. Some pretty funny characters and all around good guys on these boards.
I had a business Visa that stolen 4 times in 7 years with a former employer. Was told they now have random number generators that come up with a likely CC #, they run it for $.50, or $1.00 to see if it's real, then they sell it to a slime ball who goes on a spree.
I check my cc every day on line with my holder
Chaw and rikj - wishing you both speedy recoveries!
My gripe for today - someone stole my credit card number. Happened almost a week ago and had $1,850 worth of charges in tons of transactions. I caught it by checking my transactions. One of the first transactions was a $650 electric bill in the city of Atlanta. I struggle with the fact that a merchant code of utilities in Atlanta, GA with that size of a charge doesn't cause the CC company to flag it and call me considering I live in WI.
