My stimulus check just arrived today in the mail. Still don't understand why they sent an actual check this time instead of direct deposit. IRS web site said they mailed the check on 1-6-21 and I received it 1-14-21. I guess that is why they call it snail mail.
General Discussion
Stimulus check finally arrived.
It's June already. Shouldn't we have another stimulus check by now? Or just go to UBI?

Anybody else had this happen? I received the first two stimulus payments as paper checks, and fairly early when approved. Couple days ago, I got to thinking about not receiving the third one yet. So I went on the payment tracker, and it said the payment was direct deposited into my bank account last week of March. I hadn't yet received my monthly bank statement yet, so called bank. They verified there was a direct deposit for myself and wife. Now the curious part, I have never supplied my bank account number or info on any tax forms ever. Plus the particular account is solely in my name. I have always had refunds sent by paper checks. How could this be? Attempting to call the IRS would probably a waste of time. Guess it's true, the government knows more about you then you do.
Got mine via direct deposit yesterday. Was not happy with the amount but I understand it's based on income as well as other things Well I have a great pension and that reflects in the amount of stimulus that I received which I have to accept. It's not what I thought but it's extra money I did not have two days ago. LOL!!!
