Most of us know guys like Hugh in real life. When we run into them we're immediately making up reasons why we can't talk long.

At least for me, it doesn't matter if we're on the same side of the aisle politically or not. If someone is easily angered...Continually has a low grade simmering resentment against - heck doesn't really matter who - I don't want to spend much time with those guys. Don't want to take their phone calls or look at the "clever" memes they pass along.

But they're more than welcome to get mad at me online. lol.

Wisco/cds is a great guy. Easy to talk to. He would point out in some of his stories that when 1 thing goes wrong, it can affect the whole day! He’s a hard working man.

Jimmer - It looks like Hugh made a post that was deleted....I always miss the good stuff.

There's been a few guys here over the years that took offense at every word I posted...I really make an effort to not make posts that could be considered offensive by people with viewpoints even 180* from mine. Apparently I don't always succeed.

When I started yup my biz there were a handful of people I knew IRL that I considered marginally friends who suddenly disliked me. Two who went on a gossip campaign  trying to convince others that I was some kind of horrible person...The embodiment of rightwing toxic masculinity. A greedy employer, an opportunistic shark...all those other funny labels that are meant to be insulting.

But I had other people who I knew but not well at all...Who stepped up with support and encouragement and just the right words at just the right moment. Awesome folks who were my friends even though I didn't know it yet.

So I try not to offend but when I do, when people decide I'm someone worthy of the energy it takes to dislike...it doesn't much bother me. it's kind of amusing....usually.

Better run: Tree on a house. I was supposed to be doing injections today. Nice easy morning. Instead....Oof.

I think Wisco has had a stalker here in the past, more than once? Correct me if I'm wrong. But Hugh seemed to take particular interest in anything Cds had to say. I'd assume you're correct in that it's not the person's first lake link go-round. 

Hugh didn't stick around too long    I feel like he's someone we know, just wasn't around long enough to put a finger on it! 

Well HELLO everyone!! Yes been busy fishing etc… Today was a kayak adventure on North lake with a couple buddies, tough in the wind! But, was a good time with great friends!  Yup that’s me in the background floating around   

Snagger is still around.  I talk with him every once in a while.  I'd post an update on how well he's doing, but I don't want to do that without his permission.

Haven’t seen anything from Ice Queen lately.   Hopefully she’s just conjecturing up some “different “ recipes to test on her hubby.🤣

Start saving gasoline by simply by using your onboard electric motor. Use the big motor for traveling on the water. Batteries can be recharged at home or camp. Get a cheap efficient generator for onboard charging.
