23 yrs .,loving every minute 

I've been retired since 2007 unfortunately my wife passed away in 2010 so i have been enjoying to "FRUITS OF MY LABOR" since then..

Stick a fork in me .. am done. Today was my last full time day. Start packing tomorrow for a several week fishing trip to South America. Maybe a bit of consulting starting in April, but not much to get in the way of doing stuff I want to do. ​

Looked good 5 months ago....but things have changed,

Here at IL/WI Stateline, not sure how much snow we have, but heavy and wet, but still drifted. No place to go. Will deal with it later today and get the Ariens 8HP blower out. Barely got back door screen open enough to let dog out. Front sidewalk drifted too. 

I’m watching the squirrels attack the feeder.  They cant get at the seeds because the feeder is enclosed with ice and snow.    Big whitecaps are putting a layer of ice over my piers.   Looks pretty over the lake but dangerous.  I’m waiting for the next round of snow to arrive.

Nothing better than a day like today, sitting in front of my picture window watching people go to work! With a warm cup of coffee and my smart phone!

We will be just fine.. looking forward to it. Insurance is a small price to pay.
