Oh yeah, Mel Brooks is a comic genius.  He's 100 years old so obviously laughter is the best medicine!

Watched Blazing Saddles last night. Said to myself, “self, can u imagine if that movie was made today this country would be on fire”.  Haven’t laughed that much in quite a while. That is just one funny frickin movie.  

Me thinks that means there is no fish in the lake. 

He said uninhabited lake and I was sold.

I never did get a cell phone signal at this remote uninhabited lake in the past. I got Starlink now . Elon says I need a clear sky above me for it to work,  so i guess I'm set now.

where does space end. where did time begin... whats the space in between..?

Why is the race for governor a gubernatorial race. Are we electing Gubers?   Or maybe 🤔 Gubernators?  

Its tourist time.  Lakeshore neighbors are arriving. Pontooners joyfully clueless in their daily  cruise thru the spawning beds.  UTVs getting revved up.  Havent seen a jet ski yet, that will happen tomorrow.  
I have to fit in somehow so tomorrow morning I will mow the weeds whether it needs it or not.  Have some rotted birch I need to cut down so the chainsaw should be a nice addition to the touristy ambiance of the northwoods.

Watched a fawn learn a valuable lesson - mama was trotting along with fawn running behind.  Mama stopped short and the fawn ran into mama and went for a tumble.  Pretty funny to see.  Bet it won't be trailing right behind anymore...

I've been looking and just saw my first fawn of the year here in ​Conover. I remember the buck staring me down while walking past me to get to a doe back in November in my driveway. I'm glad I wasn't another buck. It was a ​STUD.
