With the drop in Gas prices I was hoping that propane would follow . Last summer I filled the tank at .86 per gallon . Yesterday I called , and it was 1.59 . Sad Sad

Own if you can swing it. Then you can shop around,  but if we ever get tight on supply,  companies may not fill you if it isn't their tank. I rent from a big company,  don't cost me anything if I use 600 gallons a year which I easily do. I don't think they would ever run out if shortages were to come up.

Northern Wisconsin is always cheaper than southern.   I don't know why.   I'll pay 1.59 to Web-Pro Kiel Wisconsin.  I don't own the the tank.  Last year paid 2.15

Summer fillup truck stopped by today. $1.51  Wasn't super excited about the price. If I would have been home and whined a little to the driver. They usually knock off a few cents per gal.  Better than the 1.90 sumthing last year I guess.

Got 2 quotes of $1.49 for July delivery this past Thursday here in SW WI. I'd sure like to know why propane is cheaper up North than in Southern WI?
Gasoline is just the opposite.

That magic 8 ball did well in the stock market for me lol! I actually believe that the closer we get to election day the cheaper all fuel will be, especially next summer

Setterjack, Maybe you should consult your Magic 8 Ball for guidance on the future prices. I'm sure it's about as accurate as anyone's guess. Personally, I'm holding out hope that prices go down. I'm holding out hope, not holding my breath.

RC, good point, but it could also go down 25. If your filling up 1000 gal. That's worth the wait. I'm glad I own my tank. It payed off in the long run. ?
