The boys had a couple of friends over today. 

Catching crappies through the ice on Rapala jigging raps all week long.

First day in the water 2 /21/24 with the boat...  fishing was slow but I did manage a few crappies.

 

I have several LeLure top water baits still in the package, and others that I still fish with from time to time.  They were/are simply awesome baits.  Back when LeLure was still manufacturing lures, the wife of one of my duck hunting buddies was the one who painted LeLure baits.  She was very good at it.

It’s going to hurt a little to take it out of the package, but I know it’s going to produce. It will be one of those special baits I pull out when I’m desperate.

Found some treasure. Fishing the globe the other is for the wall.

Cooking brats over an open fire while ice fishing yesterday.  I could do that everyday.
