I went out to the Black Hills over Memorial Day weekend. Rode just about every paved highway from Custer SP north. Over 1K miles in 3 days riding out there. Got to ride Needles Highway without a single vehicle in front of me the entire ride - and rode maybe just a little faster that I should have.
I can't imagine what kind of a zoo it would be out there during the Sturgis rally.
Did about 90 miles with my friend and one of his buds from the Hog Chapter, beautiful day for a ride
Spoked wheels are some thing to clean, did mine last year laying on a creeper. 15 year old wheels look nice and shinny from a distance
I took my front wheel off today to polish chrome wheel and spokes. Much easier standing at a bench than kneeling on the ground.
Sold my Road King last year and really missed it for the first time today.
Another beautiful day to social distance. Skin doctor lady isn't going to be happy next time she see's my knoggin. 58 miles today of fresh air
Finally a great day to bust out the scooter to let the wind blow in one ear and suck the BS out of the other. About 62 miles this afternoon running the 3 county back roads area of far SE Wisconsin. Seen tons of bikes out enjoying the day also
Believe it of not they are designed to be loud, has something to do with the shape of engine block and valves. Its a marketing tactic.
