In the early 60s I found an amazing pike, bass, and crappie spot.pike on Johnson silver minnows until you got bored. I only fished twice in one week. You had to portage a Jon boat thru some brush to launch it.The lake/ river was a flowage with stumps protruding everywhere. It was in the area around Minong wi. We called it the DAVIS FLOWAGE or the CHIPPINAZIE river. I could never find it again on a map. Anyone ever hear of it? CARPIO
Lost fishing hole
Go for it and don’t forget the silver minnows lol. CARPIO
1 3/4 miles south of 77 on Chippanazie Road 2 1/2 miles east of M The launch is on the south side of the creek. Stinnett township. Been there only once caught of bunch of nice gills and small bullheads. The gills were all covered with black pepper parasites. Tried for game fish at the west end where it is the only place clear of weeds didnt get any, but I always wanted to go back. Dont hear anything about it. it is tough to get into with all the weeds and logs in the creek. There is a free primitive campground at the end where it is dammed I always thought about going out there for a couple days.197 acres 12 feet deep at the deep end
Got it! DAVIS F. ??. CARPIO
Go to the lakes section and go to washburn co. There is a lake with that name but it is only 57 acres fed by a river with the same name.
It is a 200 acre flowage fed by Chippanazie Creek and is located 12.4 miles ESE of Minong.

I believe it’s now part of the Swamp of Corruption that MH370 crashed in to.
