On my way home tonight from my Vilas County property, I spotted my first hog in Wi. At mile marker 233 south bound on hwy 51 grubbing in the ditch. A dead bear by Merrill also. Icebelt

Jr, that's rich!
Short, fat and bald, tell that lady, those milk makers can smother me anyday!
Go ahead laugh at me.I do not like the problem of wild pigs in the area
I saw another pig eating just north of Tomahawk on 51 tonight.
Yeah the boar's are nasty to eat. There were few in Crawford county few years ago. Cooked it low and slow followed most popular recipe for wild hogs. Dog wouldn't even eat the thing.
You guys are terrible . My father in law has a farm in mid Missouri and he has a game ranch next door to him. Every once in a while the hogs make the great escape. The game ranch owner tells him kill them when he sees them. He shot over 30 one year. It is too bad they really don't taste that good. But they don't go to waste... We also get other critters that escape once in a while like Red Stag- Fallow Deer. Once a 200 class whitetail got out a few days before deer season. The game ranch people could not capture it SO he told my father in law if you see it shoot it but he wanted the head back. YEA RIGHT...Good thing we did not see it one of the family I am sure would be looking at it above the fireplace...
